Lantern Fly PSA Posters
Process
This was a task given to me in one of my graphic design courses where we were tasked to make a PSA Posters. One topic near and dear to my heart is the spread of the invasive species The Spotted Lantern Fly. They were first discovered in the U.S. in my home town of Reading Pennsylvania so seeing these harmful, tree killing creatures spread across the east coast has been disheartening. Of my posters my favorite is the middle-most Fight the Flies poster, I found a photo of a lantern-fly and took a photo of Loyolas campus and used perspective in order to make the fly look like an old 1950s monster. I also applied illustrated effects to make the fly look like it was painted onto the background.
