The Local Dish
Initial Plate:
The Process
A friend was working on an independent study podcast about food from the source to the table and every step in between. I was asked to make a rustic logo with a stamp effect. I started by making a plate with some depth, then I removed the fill from the logo, kept only the strokes and text so that it was still legible, cycled through a few colors and changed opacity so It’d look great on a paper-textured background. I was also asked to make some podcast thumbnails, but ultimately the creator ended up creating her own. Below are some of the proofs for the podcast thumbnail as well.
